Bridget's Recipe Corner
Recently,
I
had
a GNO
(girl's
night
out).
The
wonderful
woman
who
hosted
the
evening
is
one
of
our
sales
reps,
Cheril.
She
had
concocted
these
amazing
martinis.
Because
I
enjoyed
them
so
much,
I
asked
if I
could
showcase
the
recipe
in
this
week's
newsletter.
Fortunately,
she
agreed.
Since
Valentine's
Day
is
right
around
the
corner,
I
thought
this
might
be
fun
cocktail
to
serve.
After
brainstorming
for
a
few
minutes,
we
decided
a
fitting
name
might
be:
Candy
"Apple
of
My
Eye"
Martini
One oz. Silver Tree Vodka
One oz. Leopold Brothers Cranberry Liqueur
One oz. Leopold Brothers Sour Apple liqueur
Splash of cranberry juice (optional)
Triebaumer Sparkling Moscato
Squeeze of lime
Shake the vodka and liqueurs on ice in a martini shaker. Pour into chilled martini glass and top off with the sparkling moscato. It's easy to make and simply delicious!
Brie & Crackers
A nice elegant accompaniment to this is simply brie and crackers.
Take a round of Brie and microwave it for 30 seconds. Place on dish and drizzle the Leopold Brothers Cranberry Liqueur on top of it. Sprinkle toasted almond slivers and dried cranberries on top of that and serve with table water crackers or sliced baguettes. Yummy!
*The
key
is
using
the
Leopold
Brothers
small
batch,
hand
crafted
spirits
and
liqueurs.
The
Leopold
Brothers
are
graduates
of
Columbine
High
School.
They
now
own
and
operate
a
small-batch
distillery
located
in a
100
year
old
renovated
brake
factory
in
Michigan.
However,
they
are
moving
their
distillery
back
to
Denver
this
spring. We
are
pleased
to
carry
their
award-winning
selection
of
spirits
and
liqueurs.
