I

corner,
but
after
walking
into
Liana's
office
on
Monday
afternoon
I
knew
she
had
made
something
wonderful.
I
asked
if
she
would
share
and
thankfully
she
did.
If
heated
leftovers
are
an
indicator,
it
should
be
delicious.

SHREDDED
COOK ITALIAN SAUSAGE IN PAN UNTIL BROWNED AND CRUMBLED AND SET ASIDE. IN LARGE SAUCE PAN ON MEDIUM HEAT SAUTE BACON, ONION AND GARLIC UNTIL SOFT, ABOUT 5 MINUTES. ADD SAUSAGE AND SPICES AND COOK A FEW MINUTES MORE. ADD BEANS, PASTA AND CHICKEN BROTH AND COOK UNTIL PASTA IS AL DENTE. ABOUT 15 TO 20 MINUTES ON MEDIUM HEAT. REMOVE BAY LEAF. SERVE IN LARGE SOUP OR PASTA BOWLS AND SPRINKLE SHREDDED PARMESAN CHEESE ON TOP.
SERVE THIS WITH AN ITALIAN SOAVE.
