Wine Tasting
Tonight, we will be sampling the wines from our new, seasonal
six-pack. You won't want to miss these exceptional wines!
We'll start with St. Hallet, Poacher's Blend (Semillon/Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc). This delicious and crisp wine has notes of tropical lime and citrus. Try this marvelous wine with fresh seafood. Only $12.99.
Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay is a classic example of Carneros Chardonnay and shows all the unique characteristics of the region’s terroir. The flavors on the palate show apple and pear layered with bright citrus and lemon curd. Subtle notes of vanilla and spice add texture and round off the long, smooth finish, $17.99.
The Clos du Bois Merlot is an approachable Merlot with red berry characters. There are hints of mocha and a touch of smoke from toasted barrels. This is excellent served with grilled pork chops, beef and even lasagna. Pick up a bottle for $15.99.
Clos du Bois Cabernet is a full-bodied Cabernet with lovely black cherry and plum nuances and a smooth finish. This would pair very nicely with a roast beef or even fajitas...$15.99.
Geyser Peak Cabernet has notes of black cherry, cassis and vanilla. The finish is rich and smooth. Enjoy this Cabernet with grilled beef, sautéed mushrooms and rich, mature cheeses...
$10.99.
Wild Horse Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit sourced from some of the most highly acclaimed vineyards in the Central Coast. Aromas of cinnamon and black cherry are followed by a silky, smooth mouthfeel. Enjoy this elegant wine with grilled salmon and mushroom risotto - $21.99.
Tonight, please enjoy the musical talent of Dunaway Gray from 5 - 7 pm.

Wine Tasting
We will be sampling a variety of Italian wines at tonight's tasting.
We will start with C'a Montini, L'Aristocratico Pinot Grigio. This Pinot Grigio unfolds into an enticing fruit driven wine, with aromas of apple, pineapple, and honey. The structure, opulent texture and crisp acids leave you with a flavorful finish. Easy on the pocket $12.99.
We'll move from Pinot Grigio to Argiolas Costamolino, another Italian white. This intense, yet delicate wine has aromas of citrus, pineapple, tropical fruits and honey with a touch of acidity. Wonderfully paired with Asian food, $12.99.
Il Calvaliere Ruche is made from 100% Ruche, one of the rarest wines in all of Italy. Deep purple color, with aromas of violets, vanilla and cherry blossom leading to soft round flavors plum, cassis and Chinese spice. If you're a pinot lover, this wine is a great alternative. A very nice Italian red wine for only $12.99.
Cesari Mara Vino Di Ripasso, has the characteristic notes of ripe fruit, fruit preserve and cherries. It is full-bodied, yet very balanced, aged in oak casks for 6-12 months and at least 6 months in the bottle. Bargain price of $5.00.
Tonight we are pleased to feature the musical talent of Gary Conder.

Bridget's Recipe Corner
It seems like only yesterday we were dusting off the grills getting ready for summer. Now, we're celebrating Labor Day Weekend and the end of our "summer season." With that in mind, I think it's a good idea to provide you with something for the 'barbie.'
This week's recipe is brought to you by Luciana, a wine specialist at the store.
Grilled Turkey Legs
3-4 turkey legs (qty. based on what you need)
Freshly chopped garlic
Kosher salt (to taste)
Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Soy sauce
Fresh Rosemary
Juice of one lemon
Lowry's Seasoned Salt®
Olive oil
Foil for wrapping turkey legs
Generously rub olive oil and freshly chopped garlic over each turkey leg. Sprinkle with salt, pepper & Lowry's Seasoned Salt®. Place each leg in large piece of foil. Sprinkle soy sauce and lemon juice over each packet of foil. Seal tightly and place on heated grill. Cook over medium heat approx. 20 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. When the turkey is almost finished cooking and juices are clear, remove foil and place turkey legs directly on the grill.
Pour juices from foil packets over the cooked turkey legs. Watch carefully and turn frequently for another 3-4 minutes or until golden crisp.
Try these yummy grilled turkey legs with a Sauvignon Blanc (Joel Gott $10.99) or a Pinot Noir (Wente Reliz Creek $17.99).
